Gum Ghatti is a natural polysaccharideA carbohydrate consisting of a number of monosaccharide sugar molecules bonded together to form long chains. Some examples of polysaccharides include starch, glycogen, and cellulose. that is the amorphous, translucent exudate of the Anogeissus Latifolia tree of the Combretaceae family. The exudate comes out in a soft plastic form with the colourAdded to change or intensify colour in food. varying form white to amber, and then ground into a nearly odourlessThe lack of any smell., and tasteless powder.
